Fyidriving.com spied the future of Lincoln at Detroit’s big 2013 international auto show and discovered at least one of the vehicles designed to get Ford’s ritzy brand revved up. The MKC concept is a junior-sized edition of the seven-passenger MKT (based on the Ford Escape platform) that will chase others in the red-hot luxury utility vehicle category. The MKC is also proof that at last Lincoln “gets it” and no longer equates luxury with size (or vice versa). Now that Lincoln has its own dedicated designers, fyidriving expects more downsized products that will ooze luxury and high technology out of their respective sheetmetal.
