Not many details have emerged since Mazda and Chrysler-controlling Fiat announced they were jointly planning to build a sports car in much the same way Toyota and Subaru came out with the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ sporty coupes. Now fyidriving.com has discovered that the collaboration’s end products will be arriving some time in 2015. Official vehicle names aren’t being talked about, but Alfa Romeo Spider and Mazda Miata are the likeliest brands. The car would give the Fiat-owned Alfa brand a toehold in the North American market, while breathing fresh life into Mazda’s little two-seater. Fyidriving.com is really excited about this one, so stay tuned for more details as they become available.
