Getting a Ford SVT F-150 Raptor under the Christmas tree might not be as hard as it sounds. The popular hard-core off-roader has been licensed by a number of toy companies; chances are you’ll be seeing plenty of them this Christmas.
And why shouldn’t the kids get in on the fun? The Raptor’s popularity has grown since its introduction in 2010. The big truck captures the imagination in a way normally reserved for Ferraris and Porsches.
In addition to the pocket-size Hot Wheels and Matchbox replicas, you can get a Raptor in Mattel’s popular Power Wheels line of ride-on motorized toys. The truck pops up in several video games, including Forza’s Need for Speed, and there’s even a cool remote control Raptor available from Traxxas.
